Cose da fare e vedere a Bormio e Santa Caterina Valfurva -2-

Secondo appuntamento: Chiesa di Teregua. Si tratta di una chiesetta che si trova nella frazione di Teregua nel comune di Valfurva. E' facile raggiungerla: una volta a San Nicolò, proprio di fronte al Municipio, si svolta verso sx (per chi arriva da Bormio) direzione Val Zebrù/Madonna dei Monti. Ecco che pochi metri dopo, al primo tornante verso dx si stacca una stradina che porta appunto a Teregua. Pochi metri ancora e siete davanti alla chiesa. Merita interesse perchè l'associazione Teregua ha appena completato l'opera di restauro; esterno ed interno. Ora, è possibile visitarla in giorni ed orari che potete trovare sul sito dell'associazione, inoltre, gli affreschi interni sono opera di un certo Vincezo De Barberis che ha dipinto anche le chiese di Santa Lucia e San Pietro a Piatta (Valdisotto). Durante i mesi di Luglio, Agosto e Settembre è possibile visitare il "tris" di chiese, accompagnati da guida con incluso trasporto. Esperienza da non lasciarsi sfuggire per chi vuole avvicinarsi ad un poco di storia sacra dell'Alta Valtellina.

Abbiamo scattato un pò di foto in questo "caldo" mese di agosto 2009. Noi qui a Santa Caterina Valfurva per la verità siamo stati molto bene, passiamo tanti mesi in mezzo alla neve, quindi un pò di tempo trascorso con temperature sopra i 20° non lo malediciamo.
Le prime foto che tra l'altro mi piacciono molto le ho scattate in Val Zebrù al rifugio Campo il 25 Agosto, in occasione di una ottima cena a base di polenta, costine, spezzatino ecc. ecc. Si tratta di una cima chiamata Zebrusius. Se ben guardate sembra che la conformazione delle rocce e dei colori raffiguri il viso di un uomo con i baffi (Zebrusius appunto) che guarda la valle in modo un pò arrabbiato: sembra che ti guarda!

E' appena uscito il programma di escursioni guidate nel Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio. Il programma parte il 21 Giugno e termina il 27 Settembre. Le uscite sono state suddivise in 3 tipologie di interesse: Storico-Naturalistico, Glaciologico e Naturalistico, inoltre è stato affiancata un'uscita settimanale pomeridiana dedicata al Nordic Walking. Novità 2009 è la gita in programma ogni mercoledì sera in Val Zebrù.
